11. Islâm is the divine religion for the whole mankind

Islâm is the divine religion for the whole mankind.   It is Allâh’s  chosen religion for the entire humanity.  Mankind should know that no one has ever claimed “the God of mankind”, except Allâh I.  Likewise,  no other book in the world has ever recorded that divine claim, except the Qur’ân.  If we read Allâh’s  Book we learn that in many verses of the Qur’ân Allâh I  emphasizes that He is the Rabb (the Only Creator, Cherisher and Sustainer) of the whole mankind.   We read for instance the last chapter of the Qur’ân:

“Say: ‘I seek refuge with the Rabb and Cherisher of mankind, the King (or Ruler) of mankind, the God (or Judge) of mankind ¾   from the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper) (the same) who whispers into the hearts of mankind  ¾   among Jinn and among men.’”  (114:1-6)

Furthermore, Allâh I the Almighty makes it clear that He is the Creator of the whole mankind.  He I says:

“O mankind! Reverence your Guardian-Rabb Who created you from a single person, created of like nature his mate and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women.  Reverence Allâh through Whom you demand your mutual (rights) and (reverence) the wombs (that bore you): for Allâh ever watches over you.”     (4:1)

O mankind! Remember the Grace of Allâh upon you! Is there a Creator other than Allâh to give you Sustenance from heaven or earth? There is no god but He: how then are you deluded away from the Truth?  (35:3)

“O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes that you may know each other (not that you may despise each other).  Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allâh is (he who is) the most righteous of you.  And Allâh has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).”    (49:39)

The whole mankind must further know that Allâh I  is the Creator also of all things that are on earth.  He is the Originator of the heavens and on earth, and the One Who created the heavens and the earth with truth.  He the Almighty says:

“It is He (Allâh) who has created for you all things that are on earth.  Moreover His design comprehended the heavens for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things he has perfect knowledge.”  (2:29)

“They say: ‘Allâh has begotten a son.’ Glory be to Him!  Nay to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth; everything renders worship to Him.  The Originator of the heavens and the earth; when He decrees a matter He says to it: ‘Be’; and it is.”    (2: 116-117)

“It is He (Allâh) Who has created the heavens and the earth in truth, and on the Day (of Resurrection) He will say: ‘Be!’ and it is.  His Word is the truth.  His will be the dominion on the Day when the Trumpet will be blown. He knows all the unseen and the seen.  He is the All-Wise, Well-Aware (of all things).”    (6:73)

In addition, we must know that Allâh is the One Who sent down  (step by step), in truth, the Book (the Qur’ân) as a guide to mankind.  We read in the Qur’ân:

Allâh! There is no god but He the Living the Self-Subsisting Eternal.  It is He Who sent down to you (step by step) in truth the Book confirming what went before it.  And He sent down Law (Of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this as a guide to mankind and He sent down the Criterion (of judgment between right and wrong). Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allâh will suffer the severest penalty and Allâh is Exalted in Might  Rabb of Retribution.  (3:2-4)

Moreover, Allâh I says that Prophet Muhammad r is not only the Seal of the Prophets (33:40) but, also His universal Messenger to the whole mankind.   For our guidance, Allâh commands all of us to believe in His Messenger r.   He I says:

“Whatever good (O man) happens to you is from Allâh; but whatever evil happens to you is from your (own) soul.  And We have sent you (O Muhammad) as a Messenger to mankind: and enough is Allâh for a witness.”   (4:79)

“We have not sent you (O Muhammad) but as a universal (Messenger) to the whole mankind giving them glad tidings and warning them (against sin) but most of mankind understand not.”    (34:28)

“O mankind!  The Messenger (Muhammad) has come to you in truth from Allâh: believe in him: it is best for you.  But if you reject faith to Allâh belong all things in the heavens and on earth: and Allâh is All Knowing, All-Wise.”   (4:170)

Allâh is the Rabb full of grace to the whole mankind (27:73).  He has completed His favor to the whole mankind by making Islâm as the perfect religion and choosing it as the religion for all (5:3).  He makes it clear that the religion before Him is Islâm (3:19).   Islâm, therefore, is the divine religion of Allâh to the whole mankind.  For divine guidance, it is imperative that mankind must learn Islâm.
